I’m looking to bring some fresh voices onto the blog and continue to provide weekly inspiration to my readers, while balancing my family and other work commitments.
If you’re a dietitian or other health professional or student and you’d like to write something to be published here, let me know!
I’d also love to hear from people living with heart disease. Your perspective can be so helpful to those newly diagnosed.
What I’m looking for
The content needs to be relevant to my audience — people living with heart disease or concerned about their risk for it. It needs to be consistent with my approach, which is evidence-based, non-diet, and aligned with Health at Every Size® principles. Heart-healthy recipes also welcome!
I’m happy to link back to your website/blog if relevant to readers. (Although I don’t do sponsored content or anything linking to other articles to simply boost their search results.)
How we’re doing this
If you have an idea, please send it my way before writing, because I can’t promise I’ll publish everything, and I don’t want you to waste your time. And if you need an idea, let me know! I have TONS of them, with varying levels of difficulty.
I will be editing it in partnership with you, to ensure it’s easily readable, conversational, and as grammatically correct as we can manage.

I’m offering a $50 honorarium for any article or recipe published. It’s not a lot I know, but I think we should pay students and interns for their time and expertise. Exposure and experience are nice, but they don’t pay the bills. If you don’t need it, you can always donate it to a worthy cause.

If you’re interested, please reach out here. I’d be honoured to have my colleagues contribute here, and happy to support students, interns, and anyone hoping to gain writing experience.
