The challenge ran from January 9 to 14, but people seemed to really enjoy it, so I’m leaving it up, with automated email prompts to walk you through the process of setting up your Go-To List and share some heart-healthy recipes to get the ball rolling.
Wait. Tell me more. What’s a “go-to” list?
Basically it’s your personal collection of recipes and meal ideas that hit your “sweet spot”: Healthy, delicious, and right for you. The other criteria is that you should have made it at least a couple of times.
These are your tried and true recipes. (And meal ideas – not every meal needs to be based on a recipe!)
Then, when you sit down to plan food for the week, instead of an entire overwhelming universe of recipes out there, you simply choose from your “go-to” list. Easy peasy.
When you’re in the mood and have time, you can experiment with new recipes, but when time is short, you don’t want to spend it hunting for recipes and figuring out what to make.
So what’s the challenge?
Over the course of 6 days, in about 10 minutes each day, we’re going to create your go-to list. If you’ve already got one, the challenge will be a chance for you to revisit and build it out further.
We’ll take it step by step. I’ll send you mine as a template. Each day I’ll send you an email with an area to focus on for that day and links to recipes if you need heart-healthy ideas.
After six days, you’ll have a go-to list and meal planning will be that much easier.
That’s it! Short and sweet. Keeping it simple is the name of the game here. Hope you decide to join us!
