Note – these are not hard and fast rules, but if a meal meets these criteria, it’ll be easier to fit into an overall heart-healthy eating pattern. I wouldn’t recommend three meals a day like this, but it’s about the best you’ll find at most restaurants.

    • Sodium <1000mg
    • Saturated fat <10g
    • Sugar <12g
    • Carbohydrate <60g
